Condition

STRUCTURE Original canvas. There are some minor frame abrasions along the edges. There is a faint craquelure pattern across the surface with some areas of paint ridging. There are a few minor spots of paint loss about the top of the San Teodoro Column and the upper corner of the Biblioteca. There are two or three minor spots of paint loss along the right side of the lower edge. The varnish has discoloured slightly. ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT There are some very minor spots of retouching in a few isolated spots about the canvas. FRAME Held in original gilt plaster frame.
