Condition

STRUCTURE Original canvas. The paint surface is in good overall condition; there are a few areas of craquelure to the horse and a tiny fleck of paint loss in the sky, upper left. ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT UV light reveals no sign of retouching. FRAME Held in a plaster gilt frame in fair condition.
