  • wood, ebony, mother of pearl, tortoiseshell
of octagonal form standing on eight legs with mashrabiya openwork decoration and round arches to the sides, four of which feature a small rectangular calligraphic panel, the top inlaid with tortoiseshell and mother-of-pearl with a star motif to the centre and a polygonal pattern, with a geometric band on external border

Condition

In general good condition, crack running through one side of table top causing small dislocation to the mother-of-pearl design it traverses, light scratches, as viewed.
