Description

the slender tapering watered steel blade with broad back overlaid at the forte with gold koftgari work, the jade handle in the form of a lion's head set with cut rubies to the eyes, the leather-covered wood scabbard with metal chape and lock punched and chased with floral motif

Condition

some abrasions to the scabbard due to age, to one side of the forte of the blade the gold inlay is missing, the other side is fully intact, as viewed.
