of palmette form on a pointed triangular base raised on a cylindrical haft, the engraved decoration on both sides of cursive calligraphy on a field of elaborate floral and foliate scrolls on a hatched ground

losses of gilding throughout, minor wear and some surface pitting, as viewed.
