Condition

Restored by Stephen Kornhauser, Wadsworth Athenaeum, 1982. The painting has been relined, restretched over a new stretcher. New frame. In-painting in the background – in the lower left hand quadrant of the painting, under the neck of the lamb, small line of in-paint above the left eye (right side of the face), along the crest rail of the chair, spoon and bowl.
