Canvas is not lined (two patches on the reverse--correspond to center-left and lower-right on the front) SURFACE: in good condition; stretcher marks; painted with thick impasto UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: the only inpainting to work is in front of two aforementioned patches: a spot of inpaint on sitter's right shoulder (in front of one patch); an irregularly shaped repaired tear (about 4 by 3 in.) in front of the second patch at lower right
