  • glass beads, deer hide
composed of finely tanned hide decorated with yellow ochre, finely sinew-sewn in numerous colors of glass beadwork against a light blue ground, with equestrian figures on both sides, each wearing a traditional costume and feather bonnet, the broad beaded panels surmounted by triangles spot-stitched on the hide ground, trimmed with tin cone pendants, the lower section decorated with fringe, profusely strung with tubular glass beads.

Very good condition with typical wear from age and use.
