Condition

Good condition for an object of this age and type. The front possibly modified. Minor marks, nicks, scratches and abrasions consistent with age and use. Front of mask with white western paint. Aged surface. Fine medium brown aged patina on reverse with wear from use in original culture, with an old paper label inscribed "Masque Warega très ancien trouvé en 1902 / Ka???". Two pieces of cotton filling holes at either side of face, painted over in front.
