Condition

Overall in very good condition. The screen has been professionally cleaned. The screen with faceted mirror, which remains in excellent condition. With some very light surface scratches. The thin mirrored elements to the frame along the edges with visible seams, which is part of the design. These elements are original and undistrubed. Some of the larger mirrored glass central panels have been sensitively replaced by a professional restorer in a manner and likeness to the original design. The mirrored glass in very good condition with a few isolated discolorations from age, concentrated to the lower then edge panels. The reverse of the screen is lacquered wood, and lacks decoration. With nicks, scratches and dings consistent with use. This work when viewed in person is an impressive sculpture.
