Condition

Overall in very good condition. With a few occasional small air bubble inclusions inherent in the making. The fan of the Jack with eight linear tool marks evenly spaced around the vase opening, also inherent in the making. These tool marks do not detract from the visual presentation of the vase and are harmonious with the shape and composition of the fan. The exterior surfaces with some occasional light and minor surface scratches. On the underbase, the center of the pontil mark with a dark surface residue left from the metal pipe used in making. The interior with some minor traces of surface soiling. The exterior surfaces of the vase are intensely iridized throughout, imparting the vase with a full range of vibrant luminous color. The vase displays beautifully in person, and the overall scale, proportions and composition of the fan are successful and quite satisfying.
