Condition

Overall in very good condition and rather impressive scale. As visible in the catalogue illustration, there are scratches and gilding issues to the later added wooden frame. There are no losses of tessarae, but some visible blue fillers to its upper edge that can be hidden by framing. As visible in the hi-res internet image of the Vatican paper label, it is partially stained.
