Condition

Overall in very good condition. This piece is executed on an untreated canvas. There are some light circular discolorations of oil adjacent to a few of the painted circles, which is a result of the oil paint used by the artist when applied to the raw canvas. These stains are minor and do not detract from the overall appearance of the work. This discoloration is visible in the catalogue illustration to the bottom green circle to the right lower border. With some minor of discolorations to the canvas which are minute spots of color, which is inherent in the making and a result of the artist's process. One more area of dirt vertically oriented and approximately one inch in length to the untreated canvas to the proper left side about a third of the way up from the bottom. It is a very minor and appears as a gray line, and is visible in the catalogue illustration. The canvas is slightly loose to the touch and would benefit from being re-stretched. With some minor surface dirt, and a few stray dog hairs presently adhered to the canvas and easily removed. A very good example of the artist's work, which is much more dynamic in person.
