Overall in excellent condition. A superb example of the form with the very rare hole incorporated into the design. The underside of the platter with a minute loss along the seam which is very shallow and only visible upon close inspection of the underside. A true masterwork showing the finest of Wirkkala’s expressions of the design. Please note, this lot is being sold with a 1998 Gansevoort Gallery exhibition catalogue titled "The Nordic Modern Movement: Masterworks in Glass, Ceramics, Silver and Wood".
