Condition

Overall in very good restored condition. The finish throughout appears to be repainted with some scattered losses and abrasions to the painted surfaces, most prevalent to the rear bottom stretcher of the chair frame. The brass castors with surface wear, soiling and discoloration consistent with age and use. The chair has been elegantly re-upholstered. The front edge of the leather piping is coming detached and would benefit from being stabilized. With some slightly pulling away of the piping adjacent to the side elements of the backrest, likely by rubbing of the piping with the frame when the backrest is pivoted.
