Condition
Overall in very good condition. The shade with approximately 11 cracks to the glass tiles dispersed throughout. The gilt bronze surfaces of the base, sockets, riser, wheel and finial are all consistent, and beautifully complement the gilt shade leading, reinforcing that all of the elements of this lamp originated together as a unit from the period. The gilt bronze surfaces of the base with some areas of light rubbing, surface soiling and some light surface wear consistent with age and gentle use. All of the sockets and paddle switches appear original and undisturbed. A highly artistic and striking glass selection distinguished by the strong aqua background glass. The composition of the shade has a tremendous amount of movement, and the golden daffodils are beautifully complemented by the gilt surfaces of the base. A very beautiful and harmonious example of the model.
