PG/RJ  horizontal block of 12, an exceptional and very beautiful deep blue shade, large margins apart from close in places at the top, RH with Constant variety, RI-RJ with Shifted transfer, there is a heavy ironed-out crease between the two lower rows, OG with a closed tear, fresh, unused. R.P.S. Certificate 2001. A REMARKABLE AND VERY RARE UNUSED MULTIPLE . ONE OF THE LARGEST UNUSED PLATE TWO MULTIPLES EXTANT AND WITH A FLAWLESS PROVENANCE.

Offered with this lot is a letter to Lord Steinberg from Michael Sefi, Keeper of the Royal Philatelic Collection, explaining that the source of purchase by the King cannot be identified, though it was likely to have been in the 1920s or 1930s
