Green calf, spine gilt-lettered and with cuir incisé botanical decorations in three panels, upper and lower covers each with very fine cuir incisé panels of brown calf pointille background with a tableau of dragonflys, grasshoppers, flowers, wheat, a sythe and sickle in red, green, tan, and orange, signed by N. Palli on the upper cover, top edges gilt, gilt-decorated cream calf doublures, multi-colored moiré guards, marbled endleaves; spine slightly faded, some slight rubbing to spine ends and extremities.

A unique copy with the original watercolors by Camille Pissarro bound in. In all, there are 12 original watercolors, signed "CP". In addition, one of 13 numbered sets of the hors texte plates, signed by Lucien Pissarro, is bound in.
