This painting has been probably not cleaned or restored for many years, if ever. The canvas is un-lined and slightly relaxed on its stretcher. The paint layer is very fresh and in beautiful state. The reverse of the canvas shows no reinforcements and the only apparent paint loss is a small chip in the lower right corner. The painting could be lightly cleaned and retouched in this one area and the canvas should be tightened. Other than this the painting is ready to hang.
