the outer sides of the circular bowl enamelled in translucent red over wavy engine-turning below a plain rim, the base inset with a 1787 silver coin of Catherine II, part enamelled in translucent green over a textured surface, struck with workmaster's initials, 88 standard, scratched inventory number 9240, in original Fabergé wood case

Condition

Excellent condition. The coin re-enamelled and with wear to the silver surface (the profile bust).
