Description

  • Gold, enamel, mother of pearl, silk, diamonds
  • length including loop: 17.7cm, 7in.
the front guard of translucent pink enamel over moiré engine-turning applied with a rose-cut diamond-set flower trail hung from a laurel festoon, the back guard and sticks of mother-of-pearl with piqué pellets, the silk leaf painted with pink roses within gold paillon borders, the loop of chased leaves, the hinge terminals set with diamonds, struck with workmaster's initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, 56 standard, scratched inventory numbers 9368 (crossed out) and 9369, in original Fabergé fitted wood case

Condition

Excellent condition, with some minor fraying of the fabric leaf. The back guard with a small number of piqué pellets lacking.
