Condition

The first Talsarnau, North Wales: The sheet has been carefully preserved and presented. The work has not been laid down but is hinged at two places at the upper sheet edge. There is surface dirt to the work, however this is predominately only at the sheet edges, concealed beneath the mount. The medium has remained very clear. The second: A Boat Ashore: The work has been carefully preserved and presented. The sheet has not been laid down but it is attached to the mount at the sheet edges. There are several minor creases in the upper left hand corner of the sheet and the lower right hand corner has been skillfully repaired. The sheet has discolored slightly and there is some minor surface dirt overall. The pigments have remained strong.
