Condition
The painting is less green in tone and the actual colours are more vibrant than the catalogue illustration suggests.
The thin copper plate is slightly undulant. There's a small paint loss in the background upper right and a few smaller ones in the upper left corner, and along the upper right and lower right edges. Otherwise, the paint surface is generally sound with very good retention of detail in the figures, The paint surface is under a dirty varnish, which impedes proper inspection under UV light.
Offered in a decorative carved gilt wood frame with some minor losses.
