Condition
The canvas has an old but effective relining. The paint surface is dirty but secure. To the naked eye the details of the flowers are still well preserved though the dark tones of the background and vase in the lower part have become quite sunken. This is confirmed by inspection with UV light as quite extensive retouchigns can be made out in the background, though the flowers are better conserved.
Offered in a carved and gilt wood frame in good condition.
