The canvas has been lined. The surface of the work is on overall fair condition. There is craquelure throughout the work. There is a horizontal scratch (approximately 10 in.) down the left side of the canvas. Another scratch (approximately 3 in.) exists along the center of the bottom edge. There are two repaired tears; the first is approximately 20 in. from the right edge and 3 in. from the bottom edge and the second is approximately 3 in. from the right edge and 2 in. from the bottom edge. The edges are all slightly worn. The canvas is slightly detached in the upper right hand corner. Under UV; evidence of inpainting along all four edges. Heavy use of varnish.
