Description
Designed as a panther, pavé-set with brilliant-cut diamonds and decorated with cabochon sapphires, the eyes set with marquise-shaped emeralds, the nose with cabochon onyx, mounted in platinum, size 51½, signed Cartier and numbered.
Condition
Stamped Pt 950 for platinum. Signed Cartier, numbered C1516A. Sapphires and emeralds well matched in colour. Onyx in good condition. Head of panther in the ring can be turned. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 5.00 - 6.00 carats, G-H colour, VS-SI clarity, as gauged and graded in mounting. Minor signs of wear to the metal, in good condition.
