Description

Set with a cushion-shaped ruby within a border of single-cut diamonds and a cushion-shaped diamond within a border of calibré-cut rubies, size 52, numbered, accompanied by case signed Wartski.

Condition

Rubies of Burmese origin cannot be imported into the US. This piece may contain rubies of Burmese origin and therefore may not be able to be imported into the US. Certification of non-Burmese origin will be required before import of rubies into the US. Please see our Important Notices and contact the jewellery department for further information. Numbered 1655. Ruby measuring approximately 7.6 x 7.2 x 3.2 mm calculated to weigh approximately 1.50 carats, medium slightly purplish red, a few minor chips to facet edges, one indented natural on pavilion. Calibré rubies of dark purplish red, well matched in colour, minor abrasion to facet edges, one stone chipped. Diamond measuring approximately 7.6 x 7.0 x 4.2 mm, calculated to weigh approximately 1.80 carats, estimated colour H/I, estimated clarity SI, remaining diamonds bright and lively. Scratches to mount consistent with age and wear. In good condition. Accompanied by a copy of the original receipt from Wartski stating that the ring was purchased on 19th January 1962.
