Centring on a pear-shaped diamond weighing 30.31 carats, to a stylised mount highlighted by brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in 18 karat pink gold and silver-topped gold.

Condition

Colour and Clarity: According to the Gubelin and GIA reports, the diamond is D colour and Internally Flawless clarity, with an additional report by GIA stating that the diamond is Type IIA. Please refer to the reports for details. In our opinion, the diamond represent those originating from the legendary Golconda mines, with exceptional optical transparency. It is extremely rare to find a Golconda diamond of this size and quality. Condition: Mounted in 18 karat rose gold and silver, a chic and charming ring, in very good condition.

Accompanied by GIA report numbered 5101488037, dated 17 January 2011, stating that the 30.31 carat diamond is Dcolour, Internally Flawless clarity; also accompanied by diamond type classification report stating that the diamond is determined to be a Type IIa diamond. Type IIa diamonds are the most chemically pure type of diamond and often
have exceptional optical transparency. Further accompanied by Gübelin report numbered 11010005, dated 11 January 2011, stating that the 30.31 carat diamond is D colour, Internally Flawless clarity; also accompanied by notes and appendix stating that the diamond is classified as aType IIa. "Diamonds of this type, exhibiting an antique cutting style as well as superior quality, are very rare and will most certainly evoke references to the historic term of 'Golconda'."
