Condition

Canvas is lined; its surface is clean. There are areas of minor frame rubbing at the lower edge of the canvas and a faint horizontal stretcher bar mark at the center of the work. Under UV light: There are several scattered strokes of inpainting along the bottom edge to address prior frame abrasion. A few small strokes are visible in the figure's hair, and there are two spots below the center of the right edge. Overall the work is in very good condition.
