Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is a layer of varnish through which the UV light cannot fully penetrate. There appear to be no signs of retouching visible under UV light. There are some tiny specks of paint loss to the centre of the reddish-brown building facade and scattered spots of surface dirt throughout the composition. There is a slight undulation in the canvas towards the upper right corner. This work is in good condition.
Colours: Overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, although slightly warmer and less contrasted in the original.
