Condition
The canvas is lined. There is a layer of varnish which makes it difficult for the UV light to fully penetrate but there appear to be areas in the cloth and jug that flouresce some of which appear to be retouching and some of which could be the artist's pigments. The work is in fairly good condition.
Colours: Fairly accurate in the printed catalogue. The background is slightly darker in the original.
