Condition

Executed on wove paper, not laid down and taped to the mount at each corner on the reverse. The sheet is slightly discoloured overall, with minor mount staining at the edges. Overall, this work is in very good condition. Colours: Fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, the sheet is slightly darker in the orginal.

'Alberto mi regala un disegno. A mia scelta. Dopo molto cercare uscì fuori il disegno di una mela su un fogliettino e stavo per decidere quando comparve un disegno della madre, un disegno di fitte rughe, bello. Se sua madre cuciva, per me risaltavano con evidenza i gesti della sua modestia e della sua impazienza.... Ero impaziente di ottenere quel disegno. E fu mio'.
