The movement is running and the chronograph is operating at the time of cataloguing however it may requie a service in the near future to be well preserved. The dial is in good condition. The case is also in good condition with no signs of wear. CASE 2771212, MVT 2500119, N°121/125.

The Destriero Scafusia was made in a limited edition of only 125 examples from 1993 to 2001 to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of IWC in Schaffhausen. This watch, containing 750 individually manufactured and hand-finished mechanical parts, is the most complicated wristwatch ever produced in series, with a total of 21 functions and displays. The promotional literature for the piece notes that it is internally equipped with a second century slide to be replaced in 2199 so that the watch can continue to function with no additional accoutrements until the year 2499.
