Condition

The movement and chronograph will run at the time of cataloguing but stop after a short while and will require servicing. The dial is in good condition. The luminescent dots have degraded. The case and bracelet have been repolished. Numbered between the lugs 6263, inside the case back 6262 Serial number between the lugs 3424412. Catalogue Note

The Sultanate of Oman emblem is made of a two crossed "khanjars" knifes, a traditional dagger of Oman. Between the daggers is placed the "gourith", a small traditional axe whose head is 10 cm long. This model with Oman arms is very rare to find.

A similar example reference 6263 with black dial version was sold at Sotheby's London on July 14th, 2011.
