Catalogue Note

The Sultanate of Oman emblem is made of a two crossed "khanjars" knifes, a traditional dagger of Oman. Between the daggers is placed the "gourith", a small traditional axe whose head is 10 cm long. This model with Oman arms is very rare to find.

A similar example reference 6263 with black dial version was sold at Sotheby's London on July 14th, 2011.
