The pendant composed of a carved nephrite plaque, accented by a pear-shaped cabochon ruby measuring approximately 12.7 by 8.9 mm., a cabochon emerald measuring approximately 8.2 by 6.8 mm., and sapphire cabochons measuring approximately 5.7 by 4.9 mm. to 3.6 mm., completed by a gold necklace designed as lionheads, gross weight of necklace 139 dwts., gross weight of pendant approximately 60 dwts., length of necklace 27 inches, necklace and pendant signed Webb, an 8-inch section of the necklace may be detached to be worn as a bracelet, pendant detaches to be worn as a brooch.
Condition
Very good condition. The medium blue sapphires and medium-light bluish green emerald are lightly to moderatetly included; the medium-deep purplish red ruby presents reflective fingerprints. The gold is a brighter color than pictured in the catalogue illustration. The pendant and the necklace are signed Webb.
