Condition

Overall in very good condition. The surface of the painted portion of the body retains the deep original coloration of the design. The feet with possible over-painting and some light rubbing and losses to the painted surface. The proper left leg with possibly old repair as there is some glue visible at the top portion of the thigh where it meets the metal costume. Both the proper left arm and the entire figure are slightly loose to the touch and easily tightened. There is a small circular ring discoloration measuring less than a 1/8 inch to the ivory in the sculpted hair portion, which is visible in the catalogue illustration. The base with a minor loss at one corner and another minor loss adjacent to the proper left foot. Both are minor and do not detract from the overall work. The racket is in good condition, and appears to retain its original metal stringing. Due to the fragile nature of this sculpture, special handling and/or packing may be required during the shipping process.
