Catalogue Note

First edition, second issue of the Aldam with the title-page dated 1876 (the binding of each issue has "1876" gilt-stamped at the foot of the spine). A remarkable production, with perhaps only 200 copies of both issues sold over a number of years.

Limited edition of the Ronalds, no. 63 of 250 copies (of a total edition of 270) signed by the publisher.  First published in 1836, this is actually the  first edition to contain flies tied according to the author's instructions.
