Condition

This work is in good condition overall. The edges of the sheet are deckled. The sheet is hinged to the backing board. The sheet is slightly buckled. There is a halo of oil around thickly applied areas of paint. Portions of the overlaid surface of oil paint are missing revealing the watercolor beneath, possibly a deliberate effect of the artist's technique.
