Catalogue Note
In the present work, Lulwah Al-Homoud has taken the 99 names of Allah and created a mathematical composition within each print, in which she recalibrates and essentially deconstructs Arabic calligraphy. In the present work, Al-Homoud has produced a work reminiscent of Islamic geometry, brought about by her deep understanding of Arabic as well as her capability of computing the numerical values of each letter.
