  • Ink & Gold on Paper
Arabic manuscript on paper, 307 leaves plus 3 flyleaves, 15 lines to the page, written in Naskh script in black ink, verses separated by gold florets pointed in red, blue and white, surah headings in white against gold-ground cartouches within foliate panels, opening double-page illuminated frontispiece in colours and gold, text within cloud bands, the gold ground punched with cintimani motifs, red morocco binding with gilt stellar-form motifs

In good overall condition, some minor paper repairs, pages generally clean and fresh, as viewed.
