Ink and gouache heightened with gold on paper, depicting a courtesan reclining on a set of pillows, laid down on an album page with inner borders comprising eleven pasted down rectangular cartouches containing verses in Nasta'liq script overlaid with gold floral scrolls, wide ebru outer margins, the reverse with 12 lines of text in Nasta'liq script in black ink with a dark turquoise border stencilled with gold flowering scrolls

Condition

In overall fairly good condition, with some wear along outer edges, and minor discoloration consistent with age, as viewed.
