Elle porte, inscrite à l'encre blanche sous la poignée, l'inscription "25662 Kongo, Frobenius", répétée à l'encre noire sur la hampe ("25662 Kongo Gletz), et le numéro d'inventaire sur la lame.

Cette hache d'apparat se distingue par la très belle qualité de la lame trapézoïdale, gravée de spirales et décorée à jour de cercles pointillés et d'une rosace centrale en cuivre rouge.
