Condition

The colors are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, although the overall tonality is lighter in the original. The work is on its original canvas. There are some scattered craquelures throughout, mostly to the white parts and to the black paint in the upper part of the composition. Under UV light, there are 3 spots of retouching visible to the centre of the white circle. There is also a line of retouching along a craquelure to the white paint in the lower right quadrant of the composition.
