Condition

SURFACE: in good condition, generally UNDER ULTRA VIOLET: spots of inpainting scattered throughout sky; some craquelure fill-in on main figure and his horse (two riders behind him and his attacker look clean); work was selectively cleaned at one time, as a few areas in lower right quadrant show traces of old varnish (i.e. desert grass and partially, the rear two riders and horses, as well as the signature)
