  • ivory, two-colour gold, enamel, seed pearl,
  • height: 9.9cm, 3 7/8 in.
rectangular, enamelled in translucent lime green over banded wavy engine-turning and painted with entwining foliate tendrils, husk-chased border, the aperture framed with seed pearls, gold scroll strut, ivory back, struck with workmaster's initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, 56 standard, containing a miniature portrait on ivory of a small child, signed and dated W. Nicolson '02

Condition

Generally in excellent condition. There is a small corner loss to ivory back, and another corner with a split at the screw. The gold surface with very faint surface scratches consistent with age.
