The complete book, 1947, comprising twenty pochoirs printed in colors after collages and cut paper designs, signed in pencil and numbered 144, from the book edition of 270 (there was also a portfolio edition of 100)

Condition

The book is in good condition overall; the colors are quite fresh and bright. Imperfections found in the individual plates are as follows: CIRQUE- small fox mark in the left margin CAUCHEMAR - a pale fox mark in the white at upper right and one in the lower right sheet corner LE CODOMAS - with a very pale fox mark in the yellow near the fold LE NAGEUSE - tiny fox mark in the blue at left L'AVALEUR DES SABRES - two tiny fox marks in the margins LE COWBOY - an extremely pale fox mark near the lower sheet edge at right LE LANCEUR... two very pale fox marks. a few additional fox marks on the verso LE LAGON (p. 122) with a pale fox mark in the left margin, showing through from the reverse LE LAGON (p. 130) with a dark fox mark near the right sheet edge (outside the image) LE LAGON (p. 138) with a fox mark on the verso, showing through (very pale) in the right margin LE TOBOGAN - fox mark at the fold of the page
