de forme rectangulaire, ouvrant à sept tiroirs et deux portes dans le bas, le cylindre découvrant six autres tiroirs, reposant sur des montants droits cannelés ; dessus de marbre blanc à galerie ; (manquent les poignées du cylindre ; encadrement de laiton rapporté)

The illustration is accurate. Good unrestored condition with small chips, dents, lifts and scratches to the mahogany. The two handles missing to the cylinder, the inside with two mahogany molding detached on two drawers and one brass still missing. The cylinder probably reveneered during 19th century. Evidence of the previous lock system now disappeared which used to reveal secret drawers up to the present drawers (key traces) now hided by brass molding. One mahogany molding (30 centimeters long) is also missing to the central right lowers door. One long crack (60 centimeters) filled in with wooden composition. Very strong and attractive model, circa 1800. Probably originally with side slide.
