Description

Of openwork design depicting a female head in profile applied with matte gray/green enamel to symbolize the dying year, her hair in brown enamel entwined with branches of cascading leaves in gold and autumnal fruits of fiery orange enamel, and pale creamy pink contre émail, signed Lalique, maker's mark, French assay mark.  With tan leather box embossed with a design of falling leaves, the silk lining of the case with gilt mark: R. Lalique / 20 Rue Thérèse / Paris.

Condition

The enamelling on the front is in good condition with only minute amounts of damage. The reverse is enamelled throughout with an opalescent enamelling, which has a few small spots of damage. In good condition overall. Signed Lalique on the bottom right rim (facing). With partial maker's mark and french marks on pendant loop.
