Description

  • SILVER, GOLD, AMETHYST AND DIAMONDS
The central step-cut amethyst within a surround of calibré-cut stones, interwoven with a ribbon of circular- and single-cut diamonds, to a similarly set surmount and drop.

Condition

Mounted in silver and gold. Amethyst a dark purple with strong saturation, typical inclusions visible with magnification, nicks to some facet junctions. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 6.00 - 7.00 carats, of mixed colours and clarities. Fitting to reverse of jewel where it has been used as a clasp at one stage, surmount and drop not detachable, traces of solder. Mount with scratches consistent with wear. In good condition.
