  • DIAMONDS, PEARLS
Designed as a graduated single row of pearls measuring from approximately 5.35mm to 9.3mm, to a navette-shaped clasp, pierced and millegrain-set with circular-cut and rose diamonds, length approximately 565mm, French assay and maker's marks.

Condition

Accompanied be a report from Gwilym M. Jones stating that all are natural pearls and are inert in ultraviolet light. Please note, pearls that are inert when subjected to ultraviolet light are most often natural saltwater pearls. Stamped with French assay mark for 18 carat gold to tongue and Maker's mark G L in a lozenge with a flower in the centre, possibly for Gaston Laperlier based at 147 rue du Temple, Paris. Pearls with slightly varying bodycolour from medium lustre on average some with high lustre, several with rosé and green overtones. Few pearls towards front with signs of cracking. Could benefit from being restrung. Secure clasp with safety chain. In good condition.
